Pelech absent as Islanders keep forward lines intact at practice
New York held the forward combinations it finished Saturday's loss to Tampa Bay with, but defenceman Adam Pelech was not on the ice.
Adam Pelech was not on the ice when the New York Islanders practised Monday at Northwell Health Ice Center. No reason for his absence was given in the practice report.
The Islanders were back at work after a 5-3 loss to the Tampa Bay Lightning on Saturday. They kept the same forward lines they used in the second half of that game, when Simon Holmstrom and Ondrej Palat swapped places on their respective lines. That arrangement held on Oct. 12.
Here is how New York lined up:
Forwards
- Emil Heineman, Bo Horvat, Kyle Palmieri
- Brayden Schenn, Cal Ritchie, Victor Eklund
- Ondrej Palat, JG Pageau, Anthony Duclair
- Matias Maccelli, Casey Cizikas, Simon Holmstrom
Defence
- Logan Stanley and Matthew Schaefer
- Scott Mayfield and Ryan Pulock
- Tony DeAngelo and Matthew Kessel
With Pelech out of the rotation at practice, the six defencemen above made up the pairings on the ice.
