Oilers Trim Camp Roster, Send Five To Bakersfield

The Edmonton Oilers reduced their training camp roster by five players on Wednesday, the club announced.

Edmonton loaned two players to its AHL affiliate, the Bakersfield Condors, and released three players from professional tryout agreements to report to Bakersfield. The Oilers’ release did not name the five players.

The moves leave Edmonton with 49 players in camp: 29 forwards, 14 defencemen and six goaltenders. The Oilers are scheduled to visit Vancouver for a pre-season game Thursday.
