The NHL unveiled plans Monday to give Winnipeg’s Princess Auto Stadium the look of a Canadian cabin for the Heritage Classic on Sunday, Oct. 25. The Winnipeg Jets will face the Montreal Canadiens at 7 p.m. ET.

The design places the outdoor ice against a backdrop of large timber logs. Team emblems, old-fashioned hockey displays and framed jerseys will decorate the setting, with a fireplace and giant decorative skates in front.

Four stages will provide space for musical performances during the game. The league said the performers will be announced in the coming days.

SoulBear will sing the Canadian anthem, with Jordan Sangalang serving as the anthem’s Deaf performer through the NHL’s partnership with P-X-P.

Former Jets Dustin Byfuglien, Andrew Ladd and Blake Wheeler will participate in the ceremonial puck drop. They will also join other alumni during the second intermission for a celebration of the franchise’s 15 years back in Winnipeg.
