McDavid Holds Right Arm After Oilers Camp Collision

Connor McDavid appeared shaken up during an Edmonton Oilers training camp scrimmage Friday after contact with new defenseman Shakir Mukhamadullin sent him sliding into the net and goaltender Connor Ungar.
While the net was being returned to its moorings, McDavid skated slowly to center ice while holding and moving his right arm. He appeared to wave off a trainer, who returned to the bench.
McDavid then scored on the ensuing penalty shot. After the goal, he again appeared to be holding and moving his right arm.
The Oilers did not provide an immediate update on a possible injury.
Edmonton acquired Mukhamadullin and Zack Sharp from the San Jose Sharks in the July 1 trade that sent Darnell Nurse to San Jose.
