Maple Leafs visit Kraken with Marchenko uncertain
Toronto continues its road trip in Seattle after a 5-2 loss in Calgary.
The Toronto Maple Leafs visit the Seattle Kraken on Wednesday, Oct. 28, hoping to respond to a 5-2 defeat in Calgary. The game at Climate Pledge Arena starts at 10 p.m. ET.
Toronto could be without Kirill Marchenko, who left the Calgary game in the second period with a lower-body injury and did not return. He has six goals and eight assists through 14 games.
The Maple Leafs are 7-5-2 after their four-game winning streak ended against the Flames. Seattle is 7-4-1 and also seeking a response after losing 5-1 to Minnesota on Saturday.
Wednesday concludes a four-game homestand for the Kraken, who are 2-1-0 through the first three games. It is the third stop on Toronto’s four-game Pacific Division road trip, which ends in Vancouver on Saturday.
Toronto won seven of the teams’ first 10 meetings, but Seattle took both games last season.
