Islanders sign defenceman Logan Stanley to one-year contract

The 28-year-old recorded career highs of nine goals and 26 points in 76 games with Winnipeg and Buffalo last season.

The New York Islanders signed defenceman Logan Stanley to a one-year contract, the club announced Sunday.

Stanley, 28, set career highs of nine goals, 17 assists and 26 points in 76 games split between the Winnipeg Jets and Buffalo Sabres in 2025-26. Winnipeg traded him to Buffalo on March 6 after selecting him 18th overall in the 2016 NHL Draft.
