Islanders assign Aitcheson, Eiserman and George to Hamilton

New York sent three prospects to its AHL affiliate Sunday and placed goaltender Vitek Vanecek on waivers for assignment.

The New York Islanders assigned defencemen Kashawn Aitcheson and Isaiah George and forward Cole Eiserman to their AHL affiliate in Hamilton on Sunday, the club announced.

The Islanders also placed goaltender Vitek Vanecek on waivers for the purpose of assignment. He has not yet cleared waivers or been assigned to Hamilton.
