Hurricanes send Charles Alexis Legault to Chicago Wolves

Carolina assigned the defenceman to its AHL affiliate after two NHL appearances this season.

The Carolina Hurricanes assigned defenceman Charles Alexis Legault to the Chicago Wolves on Saturday, Oct. 3, the NHL club announced. Legault had appeared in two games for Carolina this season.

He recorded a goal and an assist in 12 regular-season games with the Hurricanes in 2025-26. He also played 24 AHL games for Chicago that season, producing three goals and five assists.

Legault had 14 points in 63 games for the Wolves during his first professional season in 2024-25. Carolina selected him in the fifth round, 139th overall, in the 2023 NHL Draft.
