The Carolina Hurricanes and Capitol Broadcasting Company announced a multi-year extension that keeps the team's games on 99.9 The Fan (WCMC-FM).

The station has served as the Hurricanes' flagship since 2007. Every preseason, regular-season and postseason game will continue to air live, with Mike Maniscalco and Tripp Tracy on the call.

The agreement also continues the "Storm Watch" pregame show, the "Aftermath" postgame show and "Canes Corner," hosted by Adam Gold after every game. Hurricanes interviews and daily coverage will remain part of the station's local sports-talk lineup.

Hurricanes communications executive Mike Sundheim said the partnership gives fans game broadcasts along with news, analysis and discussion. Capitol Broadcasting executive Brian Grube pointed to Carolina's 2026 Stanley Cup title as part of the momentum behind the extension.
