Hurricanes assign Nadeau, Unger Sorum to Chicago Wolves
Carolina also waived Juuso Valimaki for a possible AHL assignment and placed Seth Jarvis on injured non-roster.
The Carolina Hurricanes assigned forwards Bradly Nadeau and Felix Unger Sorum to their AHL affiliate, the Chicago Wolves, on Sept. 27, general manager Eric Tulsky announced.
Carolina placed defenceman Juuso Valimaki on waivers for the purpose of assigning him to Chicago. That move depends on him clearing waivers. The Hurricanes also placed Seth Jarvis on the injured non-roster list with an upper-body injury.
Once all four moves are finalized, the club said its opening-night roster will have 13 forwards, seven defencemen and three goaltenders.
