Griffins reassign Bertuzzi and Moyle to Toledo

Grand Rapids sends both forwards to its ECHL affiliate three days after recalling them for preseason games.

The Grand Rapids Griffins reassigned forwards Tag Bertuzzi and Nolan Moyle to the Toledo Walleye on Monday, the AHL club announced.

Grand Rapids had recalled both players from Toledo on Friday. Monday's move sends them back to the ECHL affiliate ahead of the Griffins' regular-season opener at Cleveland on Friday. The club did not say whether either player will return to Grand Rapids during the season.
