Flyers tuck jerseys during warm-up after Zegras penalty

Several Philadelphia Flyers wore their jerseys tucked into their pants during warm-up before Saturday's preseason game against the Washington Capitals. Sportsnet identified captain Sean Couturier, Travis Konecny and Trevor Zegras among those involved, describing the gesture as apparent support for Zegras.
Zegras had received a minor penalty for improperly wearing equipment against the Boston Bruins on Thursday after an earlier warning. "My jersey was tucked in before the shift," he said after that game. "So after a warning, they said that's an automatic penalty."
Sportsnet reported that the NHL is applying its existing jersey-tuck policy more strictly this season. Players must start a shift with their jerseys untucked, with a warning before a minor penalty for a further violation. The outlet said the Flyers had untucked their jerseys by the time Saturday's game began.
