Flyers sign Garrett Wilson to one-year, two-way contract
The Phantoms captain returns on an $850,000 NHL deal after three games with Philadelphia last season.
The Philadelphia Flyers signed forward Garrett Wilson to a one-year, two-way contract with an $850,000 average annual value, the club announced Sunday.
Wilson, 35, captained the Lehigh Valley Phantoms for the past three seasons. He recorded four goals and 12 assists in 54 AHL games last season before playing three games for Philadelphia. His March 19 appearance against Los Angeles was his first NHL game since the 2019 Stanley Cup Playoffs.
The Philadelphia chapter of the Professional Hockey Writers Association nominated Wilson for the 2025-26 Bill Masterton Memorial Trophy. The Flyers list 353 points in 754 career AHL games and eight points in 87 NHL games.
