The Seattle Kraken host the Calgary Flames at Climate Pledge Arena on Sunday, Oct. 4, at 5 p.m. PT. Seattle is 1-1-0 after two road games, while Calgary arrives at 0-2-0. The game will be shown on KONG and Prime Video, with radio coverage on KJR 93.3 FM.

Discipline is a focus in Seattle's official preview. The Kraken took three minor penalties in the first period of Saturday's 3-1 loss at Edmonton but allowed no power-play goals. They had taken only one minor penalty in Thursday's 6-1 win at Calgary.

Mackie Samoskevich played just under 12 minutes on the fourth line against Edmonton after eight days on injured reserve. Seattle's preview raises the possibility of a larger role against Calgary, but no change has been confirmed. With no Sunday morning skate, the lineup may not be known until shortly before the game.

Calgary lost 4-1 in Vancouver on Saturday after carrying a 1-0 lead into the third period. The Flames have scored twice and conceded 10 goals in their first two games. Seattle converted one of two power-play opportunities against Edmonton; Calgary took five penalties in each of its first two games.

Devin Cooley started for Calgary against Vancouver. Seattle's preview projects Dustin Wolf to face the Kraken on Sunday, with the starting goalie still unconfirmed.
