Ducks trim camp roster to 27, assign three to San Diego

Anaheim sent Nico Myatovic, Stian Solberg and Noah Warren to its AHL affiliate and placed two more players on waivers.

The Anaheim Ducks reduced their training camp roster to 27 players on Sunday, assigning three to the AHL's San Diego Gulls and placing two more on waivers for the purpose of assignment, the club announced. The remaining group has 16 forwards, eight defencemen and three goaltenders.

Left wing Nico Myatovic and defencemen Stian Solberg and Noah Warren were assigned directly to San Diego. Defenceman Travis Mitchell and goaltender Laurent Brossoit were placed on waivers for the purpose of assignment to the Gulls.
