Ducks Open Preseason Against Sharks at Honda Center
Anaheim hosts San Jose at 1 p.m. PT Sunday in the first of four exhibition games against the Sharks and Kings.
The Anaheim Ducks open their 2026 preseason against the San Jose Sharks at Honda Center on Sunday. Puck drop is set for 1 p.m. PT, and the Ducks say the game will stream on AnaheimDucks.com and the Honda Center + Ducks app.
Anaheim has four exhibition games, all against San Jose or Los Angeles. The Ducks host the Kings on Wednesday, visit the Sharks on Thursday and close the preseason in Los Angeles on Saturday.
The game comes three days after the start of Ducks training camp. Anaheim made the playoffs last season for the first time in eight years, and Joel Quenneville is beginning his second season as coach. General manager Pat Verbeek described camp as a chance for young players to compete for roster spots, while Cutter Gauthier said the young group expects to take on more leadership.
