Ducks cut five more, reduce training camp roster to 30

Farrell, Gaucher, Hamblin, Schueneman and Woo leave Anaheim’s camp after Friday’s waiver placements.

The Anaheim Ducks reduced their training camp roster to 30 players on Saturday, naming centres Sean Farrell, Nathan Gaucher and James Hamblin and defencemen Corey Schueneman and Jett Woo in the latest five moves announced by the club. The remaining camp group has 17 forwards, 10 defencemen and three goaltenders.

Anaheim placed those same five players on waivers Friday with the intention of assigning them to the San Diego Gulls. Saturday's update confirms the smaller camp roster but does not say whether the players cleared waivers or joined the AHL team.
