Ducks announce Orange Carpet plans for Sunday home opener
Ticketed fans can enter the viewing area at 12:30 p.m. PT; player arrivals begin at 1:30 p.m. before the 5 p.m. game against Florida.
Anaheim Ducks players will arrive on the Orange Carpet at Honda Center at 1:30 p.m. PT on Sunday, Oct. 4, ahead of the team's home opener against the Florida Panthers. The Ducks announced the festivities Wednesday, Sept. 30.
Fans with game tickets can enter the carpet viewing area by the arena's Northwest entrance from 12:30 p.m. The Cerritos Garage opens at 11 a.m. and is the club's recommended parking option for the arrivals; the Katella Garage opens at 1:30 p.m. General parking in both garages is included with event tickets.
The game starts at 5 p.m. PT. The outdoor Modelo Puck Drop Patio and the Anaheim Team Store open to ticket holders at 3 p.m. The patio will host a DJ and the first Surprise Puck sale of the season. Each autographed puck costs $30, with proceeds benefiting the Anaheim Ducks Foundation; quantities are limited.
Anaheim is asking fans to take their seats by 4:45 p.m. for warmups, followed by a new on-ice pregame show and introductions of the players, coaches, trainers and the team's 2026-27 21st Duck.
Before returning home, the Ducks begin their regular season in Las Vegas on Friday, Oct. 2, at 7 p.m. PT. The club has arranged a watch party at Brewery X in Anaheim for that road opener.
