Devils loan Anton Silaev and 12 others to Utica in camp cuts

New Jersey makes 26 roster moves, sending 13 players to the Comets and releasing 13 others from NHL camp to report there.

The New Jersey Devils loaned 13 players to their AHL affiliate, the Utica Comets, on Friday, including defenceman Anton Silaev, forward Lenni Hameenaho and goaltender Jakub Malek. The assignments were part of 26 training-camp roster moves announced by the club.

New Jersey also released 13 players from its NHL camp roster to report to Utica. That group includes forwards Ryan Schmelzer and Jack Malone, defencemen DJ King and Eamon Powell, and goaltenders Jeremy Brodeur and Seth Eisele.
