Devils expect Bratt and Glass Tuesday; Mantha uncertain with illness
Sheldon Keefe said Jesper Bratt and Cody Glass should be available against Colorado after missing team practice, while Anthony Mantha is sick.
The New Jersey Devils expect Jesper Bratt and Cody Glass to be available against Colorado on Tuesday, Oct. 20, coach Sheldon Keefe said after both missed Monday’s team practice. Anthony Mantha was also absent because of illness, and his status will be assessed Tuesday.
Keefe said Glass was managing an issue that benefits from additional time off the ice. Bratt has a nagging issue and skated on his own before the team session in a controlled setting.
The Devils returned to RWJBarnabas Health Hockey House on Monday after playing in Washington on Saturday and taking Sunday off. With fewer forwards available, the coaches worked on individual habits and drills rather than line combinations.
New Jersey begins a three-game homestand against the Avalanche on Tuesday at Prudential Center.
