Devils announce red carpet and Fan Fest for home opener
New Jersey hosts Philadelphia at Prudential Center on Oct. 1, with red carpet arrivals and a Fan Fest on Championship Plaza before puck drop.
The New Jersey Devils will open their 2026-27 home schedule against the Philadelphia Flyers on Thursday, Oct. 1, at 7 p.m. ET at Prudential Center. The game will be broadcast nationally on ESPN+ and Hulu.
The club released details of the gameday celebration, presented by Citizens, on Wednesday.
Gates on Championship Plaza open at 3 p.m. for fans who want to claim a spot. At about 4 p.m., the 2026-27 Devils will walk the red carpet before their first home game, in arrivals presented by BMW.
Fan Fest begins on Championship Plaza once the red carpet wraps up. In-arena host Jenna Lemoncelli will be there, with performances by Lulu and The Scouts and TJ the DJ. Food trucks, games and activities are planned, along with appearances from mascot NJ Devil, the Woo Crew and Devils alumni.
The Devils Experience Mobile Tour will offer video games and hockey skill activities before fans enter the arena.
Every fan in attendance will receive an LED light stick courtesy of Citizens, the official bank of the Devils and Prudential Center.
