Dallas loans Colin Blackwell, Arttu Hyry to Texas Stars

The two forwards joined the AHL affiliate’s 25-player camp roster ahead of Friday’s season opener against Iowa.

The Dallas Stars loaned forwards Colin Blackwell and Arttu Hyry to their AHL affiliate, the Texas Stars, on Monday. Texas said both players joined its training camp in Cedar Park.

The additions bring Texas's camp roster to 25 players: 15 forwards, eight defencemen and two goaltenders.

Texas opens the 2026-27 AHL season Friday, Oct. 2, against the Iowa Wild at H-E-B Center at Cedar Park.
