Charles Wesley Godwin to headline Stars Hall of Fame gala
The country and Americana singer will perform at Comerica Center in Frisco on Dec. 10, with proceeds going to the Dallas Stars Foundation.
The Dallas Stars have found a headliner for their Hall of Fame night. Charles Wesley Godwin, the West Virginia country and Americana singer-songwriter, will perform at the Dallas Stars Hall of Fame Induction Gala presented by Acrisure on Thursday, Dec. 10.
The Dallas Stars Foundation is hosting the event at Comerica Center in Frisco. It begins at 7 p.m., with the induction ceremony held first. Godwin's concert, presented by Grey Goose, is set to start at 9:30 p.m.
A limited number of general admission tickets are on sale to the public. They cover the induction ceremony and the concert, a buffet dinner and two bar drink tickets per guest. A limited number of VIP tables remain, starting at $7,500. All proceeds from ticket sales and the event will benefit the Dallas Stars Foundation.
"Charles Wesley Godwin is the perfect artist to headline this year's Hall of Fame Gala," Stars president and CEO Brad Alberts said. "The authenticity and energy that Charles and the Allegheny High bring to the stage every single night has made him one of the most sought-after artists."
The Stars Hall of Fame has two categories, Player and Builder, with a maximum of one of each eligible for selection in any election period. Players whose numbers have been retired by the club and all of the franchise's owners were inducted automatically, without going before the selection committee.
