Canucks' Jake DeBrusk questionable for opener with lower-body injury

Vancouver may be without the winger for its season opener in Edmonton on Tuesday.

Jake DeBrusk is questionable for the Vancouver Canucks' season opener against the Edmonton Oilers on Tuesday because of a lower-body injury, the club told reporters, according to Sportsnet.

DeBrusk, 29, has missed only one game in two seasons with Vancouver. He scored a career-high 28 goals in his first year with the club and had 23 goals and 42 points in 81 games last season.

The Canucks have not confirmed whether he will play Tuesday.
