Bunting expected to make Flyers debut against Senators
Philadelphia adds its new winger to a lineup still missing Nikita Grebenkin.
Michael Bunting is expected to play his first game for the Philadelphia Flyers when they visit the Ottawa Senators on Thursday, Oct. 8, according to NHL.com's projected-lineup report.
The 31-year-old winger signed a one-year contract with Philadelphia on Tuesday.
The Flyers enter the game 0-2-2. Faceoff at Canadian Tire Centre is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET.
Rasmus Ristolainen took part in Thursday's skate, but the report offered no new update on his availability. The defenceman left Saturday's 3-2 overtime loss to Carolina with an undisclosed injury.
Forward Nikita Grebenkin remains out with an upper-body injury.
