The Providence Bruins visit the Hershey Bears at GIANT Center on Saturday, Oct. 17, to open a two-game weekend series. Hershey’s official weekly release lists a 6 p.m. ET start, followed by a Sunday meeting at 3 p.m. ET.
Providence enters at 1-4-0-0, according to Inside The Rink’s preview. The Bruins won once in three games last weekend, beating Charlotte between defeats against Hartford and Wilkes-Barre/Scranton.
Hershey has won three of its first four games. Andrew Cristall has eight points, all assists, and a plus-six rating, while Bogdan Trineyev leads the Bears with three goals, the club’s weekly release says.
The series is Providence’s only visit to Hershey this season. The Bears went 1-4-0-0 against the Bruins last season and will look for a different outcome at home this weekend.
