Brock Faber returns to Wild practice after skull fracture
Coach John Hynes expects the Minnesota defenceman to travel with the team next week, but there is still no date for his return to games.
Brock Faber practised with his Minnesota Wild teammates Thursday for the first time since fracturing his skull in the preseason. The defenceman had been skating on his own before rejoining the group.
Wild coach John Hynes said Faber would miss this weekend’s home games and was expected to accompany the team on its three-game road trip next week, The Hockey News reported. No date has been set for Faber’s first game of the season.
Faber needed surgery after a puck struck him in the head during a preseason game. The Wild still list him on injured reserve.
