Blues place Mailloux, Tucker on injured reserve

The St. Louis Blues placed defencemen Logan Mailloux and Tyler Tucker on injured reserve Monday.
Mailloux underwent surgery on his right hand Sunday, according to the Blues. Club physicians plan to re-evaluate him in eight weeks; the team has not announced a return date. Tucker has a lower-body injury and is considered week-to-week.
Sportsnet reported that Mailloux hurt his hand during a fight with Chicago Blackhawks forward Cole Smith in Saturday’s pre-season game. The Blues did not specify the cause of the injury in their announcement.
Mailloux, 23, recorded 13 points (five goals, eight assists) in 67 games for St. Louis last season. The Blues acquired him from Montreal in July 2025.
