Blues assign Georgii Romanov, Calle Rosen to Springfield

St. Louis sends two players back to the AHL affiliate they helped reach last spring’s Atlantic Division Final.

The St. Louis Blues assigned goaltender Georgii Romanov and defenceman Calle Rosen to the Springfield Thunderbirds, their AHL affiliate, on Monday, the club announced.

Romanov, 26, played 28 regular-season games for Springfield in 2025-26, posting a 9-12-4 record, a 3.29 goals-against average and an .896 save percentage. In 11 playoff appearances, he went 7-4-0 with a 1.84 goals-against average and a .939 save percentage as the Thunderbirds reached the Atlantic Division Final.

Rosen, 32, had 31 points (eight goals, 23 assists) in 61 regular-season games for Springfield last season.
