Blues assign four players to AHL Springfield

Aleksanteri Kaskimaki, Dylan Peterson, Otto Stenberg and Adam Jiricek head to the Thunderbirds as St. Louis trims its camp roster to 28 players.

The St. Louis Blues assigned forwards Aleksanteri Kaskimaki, Dylan Peterson and Otto Stenberg and defenceman Adam Jiricek to the Springfield Thunderbirds on Friday, general manager Alexander Steen announced.

Springfield is St. Louis' American Hockey League affiliate. The moves leave the Blues with 28 players on their training camp roster.

St. Louis is scheduled to play its final preseason game Saturday at the Chicago Blackhawks, with puck drop at 6 p.m. CT.
