Blue Jackets set Hockey Fights Cancer Night for Nov. 5 against Stars
Columbus will honour its 2026 Class of Pediatric Cancer Heroes at Nationwide Arena, with a Provorov bobblehead ticket package for the first 750 buyers.
The Columbus Blue Jackets will hold Hockey Fights Cancer Night on Thursday, Nov. 5, when they host the Dallas Stars at Nationwide Arena at 7 p.m. ET.
The event is presented with OhioHealth and recognizes people who have battled or are fighting cancer. Every seat will get a Hockey Fights Cancer "I Fight For..." t-shirt, and fans can personalize it with a loved one's name at concourse stations. The club is asking the 5th Line to wear lavender, the colour that represents all types of cancer.
The first 750 buyers of a special ticket package get a game ticket and an Ivan Provorov bobblehead that features his dog, Drake the Pupstar.
The night also marks the debut of the 2026 Class of Pediatric Cancer Heroes, a group of five recognized through the Blue Jackets Foundation's Heroes program. They will get a special on-ice introduction. Ahead of the game, the five took part in a Flashes of Hope photoshoot and activity day with several Blue Jackets players. Flashes of Hope is a national program that produces professional portraits of children facing cancer.
Fighting pediatric cancer has been central to the Foundation's mission since the team began in 2000. It says it has granted more than $5 million to pediatric cancer causes, including therapeutic experiences and palliative care resources for patients and their families.
Fans can also buy themed merchandise at the Blue Line Team Store, in the arena and online. More details and ticket package information are at BlueJackets.com/HockeyFightsCancer.
