Kirill Kaprizov is expected to play for the Minnesota Wild against the visiting Columbus Blue Jackets on Sunday, Oct. 18, after illness kept him out of Saturday’s practice, according to the NHL’s lineup report.

Minnesota’s injury list includes Brock Faber, Filip Gustavsson, Marcus Foligno, Nick Foligno, Olli Maatta, Nico Sturm and Jared Spurgeon. Coach John Hynes does not expect Marcus Foligno or Spurgeon to play. The NHL report says Nick Foligno is skating separately from the team and Sturm remains in concussion protocol.

Columbus is without Dante Fabbro, Ivan Provorov and Isac Lundeström. The Blue Jackets won 1-0 in overtime against the New York Rangers on Saturday, with Jet Greaves making 29 saves. Cam Talbot could start against Minnesota as Columbus plays on consecutive days.

Neither team held a morning skate, according to the NHL report.
