Blue Jackets activate Dante Fabbro off injured reserve

The defenceman missed the first nine games of 2026-27 with an upper body injury suffered in preseason.

Columbus activated defenceman Dante Fabbro from injured reserve on Tuesday, Oct. 27, ahead of its visit to Philadelphia.

An upper-body injury sustained in a Sept. 21 preseason game against Detroit kept Fabbro out of the Blue Jackets’ first nine games, the club said.

Fabbro took part in Tuesday’s optional morning skate. NHL.com lists him as a game-time decision who is expected to make his season debut against the Flyers. The game starts at 7 p.m. ET.

Fabbro had five goals and six assists in 74 games for Columbus last season, according to the club’s announcement.
