Belleville Sens Plan Inaugural Home Opener Celebration for Nov. 1
The Senators mark their 10th-anniversary season in the Bay of Quinte by hosting the Toronto Marlies on the anniversary of their first AHL home game.

The Belleville Senators will hold their Inaugural Home Opener Celebration on Sunday, Nov. 1, when they host the Toronto Marlies at CIBC Place at 1 p.m.
The event, presented by Mackay Insurance, will include the debut of Belleville's anniversary third jerseys and commemorative souvenir tickets for the first 2,500 fans, the club announced Tuesday.
Mike Blunden, Belleville's first captain, is scheduled to take the ceremonial faceoff. Broadcaster Jack Miller, former players, staff and supporters will help revisit the club's first home game, played on Nov. 1, 2017.
The Senators describe 2026-27 as their 10th-anniversary season. The November celebration falls nine years after that inaugural home game.
Fans can enter from noon. Gate 1 will have activities where children can make posters or get balloon animals, both ahead of puck drop and while the game is being played.
John Mathers, the club's vice president of business operations, said the celebration would be a highlight of the anniversary season and give fans their first look at the new jerseys.
