The Hershey Bears host the Texas Stars at GIANT Center on Saturday, Oct. 10, at 7 p.m. ET and Sunday, Oct. 11, at 5 p.m. ET. The club says these will be the teams' first regular-season meetings; they previously met in the 2010 Calder Cup Finals.

The series also brings Mike Sgarbossa back to Hershey. The forward played for the Bears from 2018 to 2025 and was part of their 2023 Calder Cup championship team. After spending last season with Lugano and Bern in Switzerland, he signed with Texas on July 8.

Sgarbossa has two goals and an assist through the Stars' first two games. Hershey enters the weekend at 1-1-0-0 after splitting its opening series with Charlotte. Andrew Cristall leads the Bears with three points, and Garin Bjorklund stopped 27 shots in Sunday's win over the Checkers.

Hershey’s game-day preview says Terik Parascak could make his season debut Saturday, with a projected line alongside Spencer Smallman and rookie Lynden Lakovic.

Both games will be available on AHLTV on FloHockey and the GIANT Bears Radio Network. Hershey is scheduled to make its return visit to Texas for two games in March.
