Amerks Unveil New Blue Cross Arena Menu Ahead of 71st Season
Rochester rolled out new concession and suite offerings Thursday, two weeks before the puck drops on the Amerks' 71st AHL season.

The Rochester Americans have new food on the menu at Blue Cross Arena, with the club unveiling fresh concession and suite offerings Thursday ahead of its 71st season.
The headline addition on the concourse is a build-your-own bowl. It starts with seasoned rice and gets customized from there with a choice of protein, plus toppings, sauces and garnishes.
Suite guests get their own expanded list. Among the new items: burnt end sliders, made with smoked burnt ends tossed in barbecue sauce and served on slider buns, and breaded spaghetti and mozzarella bites served with marinara.
Fans will get their first crack at all of it on Friday, Oct. 2, when Rochester opens its 71st American Hockey League season at home against the defending Calder Cup champion Toronto Marlies.
