Amerks Add Four to Equipment and Athletic Training Staff
Rochester named Aaron Hoffmeyer head equipment manager, added Brandon Schroeder as his assistant and hired two assistant athletic trainers.
The Rochester Americans added four members to their equipment and athletic training staffs for the 2026-27 season, general manager Stacy Roest announced Monday.
Aaron Hoffmeyer was named head equipment manager, with Brandon Schroeder joining as assistant equipment manager. Travis Johns and Rob Tiedemann will serve as assistant athletic trainers.
Hoffmeyer spent the previous two seasons as assistant equipment manager with the AHL's Utica Comets. His earlier stops included the WHL's Tri-City Americans, the ECHL's Norfolk Admirals and the U.S. National Team Development Program.
Schroeder spent the past two seasons as assistant equipment manager with the Iowa Wild after holding equipment roles with the OHL's Flint Firebirds and the SIJHL's Thief River Falls Norskies.
Johns served 10 seasons as head athletic trainer for the SPHL's Roanoke Rail Yard Dawgs. Tiedemann recently completed a second stint as a seasonal intern athletic trainer with the NFL's Las Vegas Raiders and earned a master's degree in athletic training from Texas State in 2026.
