AHL announces Fenyves, Fitzpatrick, Gibson and Mitchell as 2027 Hall of Fame class

The Class of 2027 will be inducted in Cleveland on February 8.

Dave Fenyves, Ross Fitzpatrick, Doug Gibson and Tom Mitchell have been selected for the American Hockey League Hall of Fame’s Class of 2027, the league announced Thursday, Oct. 15.

Their induction ceremony is scheduled for February 8, 2027, in Cleveland during the AHL All-Star Classic hosted by the Cleveland Monsters.

The class recognises Fenyves, Fitzpatrick and Gibson for their playing careers, along with Mitchell’s work as an owner and executive.

The league also plans to announce a separate 18-member 90th Anniversary Class next month, recognising people from the AHL’s early years.
