Warrior Alpha Surge Custom Goalie Pads Start at $1,899.99 in Senior

Warrior's hockey goalie leg pad page currently lists five products across three model lines: the SURGE SR Leg Pad, the S50 in senior and intermediate, and the S30 in junior and youth. The word Ritual does not appear anywhere on that page. Warrior titles the senior pad SURGE SR Leg Pad, with no Alpha prefix; GoalieMonkey lists its Warrior custom builds under the Alpha Surge name.

What the pad is built from

Warrior describes precision-built knee and calf blocks secured by rigid C-shape HyperComp brackets, a one-piece core paired with dual layer HyperComp thigh rise panels, and a boot with a 90-degree flex profile aimed at skating and RVH entry. The SlidePlates are removable, and strapping adjusts at the knee, calf and boot. Warrior lists the senior pad in sizes 325, 335, 345, 355 and 365, and lists a Surge slide plate, strap kit, toe bridge, knee wing kit and knee block riser as separate items.

The senior Cut and Sew Classic blocker uses a HyperComp-reinforced board that combines dense impact foams with Warrior's carbon-composite blend, an AxSuede ProPalmX palm, dense foam over the index finger, and a wide-funnel open cuff meant to reduce binding against chest protector sleeves. It is offered in High Curve and Mid Curve.

Prices and lead time

At GoalieMonkey, the senior 34 Zone Hybrid build runs $1,999.99 USD for leg pads, $649.99 for the glove and $499.99 for the blocker, or $3,149.99 as a combo. The senior 29 Zone Cut and Sew and Cut and Sew Classic builds are both $1,899.99 for pads, $599.99 for the glove and $449.99 for the blocker, or $2,949.99 combined. Intermediate leg pads are $1,299.99 in 34 Zone Hybrid and $1,199.99 in either Cut and Sew build. The junior Alpha S30 combo is listed at $769.97, down from $879.97, with the youth combo at $519.97.
