VANCOUVER - It was almost like the end of a Stanley Cup playoff series as players lined up to shake hands.

But Trevor Linden was the only Vancouver Canuck who went through the entire lineup of the Calgary Flames after a 7-1 loss Saturday night.

Canucks re-sign veteran forward Trevor Linden to one-year deal

VANCOUVER (CP) - Fan favourite and 16-year Vancouver Canuck veteran Trevor Linden has re-signed with the team.

The contract will pay the 37-year-old US$600,000 in base salary. The deal also includes an additional $350,000 in bonuses for games played. The signing is a relief for Linden.
