TORONTO - Former Vancouver Canucks coach Marc Crawford has been named in a lawsuit over Todd Bertuzzi's infamous attack on Steve Moore and could be liable for millions if a judge decides the former player deserves compensation for his injury.
Moore originally filed the suit against Bertuzzi and the Canucks, seeking up to $38 million, and now court documents show that Moore has consented to naming Crawford as a third party in the case as well.

TORONTO - The lawyer representing the Vancouver Canucks and their owners in a multimillion-dollar lawsuit brought by former NHL player Steve Moore said Monday that recent allegations made against his client are scandalous and could have a prejudicial effect on the case.
Alan D'Silva was referring at a court hearing Monday to recent reports of testimony made in the discovery phase of the lawsuit that stems from the March 8, 2004 game between the Canucks and the Colorado Avalanche.

Court documents from the Steve Moore civil suit against Todd Bertuzzi provide a glimpse inside an NHL dressing room, but players scoff at any suggestion it reveals an unwritten code of retaliation or frontier justice.
"There is no code," Vancouver Canucks forward Trevor Linden, a 20-year NHL veteran and former president of the NHL Players' Association, said Wednesday.
