PETERBOROUGH, Ont. - The Peterborough Petes have decided to make a coaching change.
The Ontario Hockey League team announced Wednesday that it will not renew the contracts of head coach Vince Malette and assistant Darren Keily. The Petes squeaked into the playoffs with a 28-36-1-3 record this season and were eliminated in the first round by the Belleville Bulls.

BELLEVILLE, Ont. - Stephen Johnston scored twice as the Belleville Bulls emphatically bounced the Peterborough Petes from the Ontario Hockey League playoffs with a 7-1 win Tuesday.
The Bulls, the top seed in the OHL's Eastern Conference, won the first-round series 4-1.

PETERBOROUGH, Ont. - P.K. Subban's goal 6:24 into overtime gave the Belleville Bulls a 3-2 win over the Peterborough Petes in Ontario Hockey League playoff action Monday.
Subban stepped around a sliding check at the blue-line and hammered a slapshot past Petes' goalie Trevor Cann. Justin Soryal forced overtime for the Petes tying the game with 32.3 seconds left in the third period.

BELLEVILLE, Ont. - Matt Beleskey scored the winner and added an assist as the Belleville Bulls edged the Peterborough Petes 4-3 to take a 2-1 series lead Saturday night.
Adam Perry, Keaton Turkiewicz and Bryan Cameron also counted for Belleville.
Kenzie Sheppard, Yves Bastien and Arturs Kulda replied for Peterborough.

PETERBOROUGH, Ont. - Michael Swift scored two goals and Sebastian Dahm stopped 29 shots to give the Niagara IceDogs a 4-0 victory over the Mississauga St. Michael's Majors Thursday and 1-0 lead in their OHL Eastern Conference quarter-final.
Barry Sanderson and Stefan Legein also tallied, while Luca Caputi added three assists.
