CALGARY - Joe Colborne of the Alberta Junior Hockey League's Camrose Kodiaks was named the Canadian Junior A Hockey League player of the year Thursday.
He finished second in AJHL scoring over the regular season with 90 points (33-57).
Colborne was named playoff MVP after leading his team with 16 points (8-8). The Kodiaks won their second consecutive AJHL title and advanced to the RBC Cup, Canada's national junior A championship.
