DALLAS - The Dallas Stars are taking their chase of the Stanley Cup into the second round of the playoffs - and the reigning champs aren't.
Stephane Robidas, playing with a cage covering his broken nose, scored the tying goal on the power play early in the third period then set up Stu Barnes for the go-ahead goal 52 seconds later, sending the Stars past the Anaheim Ducks 4-1 Sunday night to end their first-round series in six games.

ANAHEIM, Calif. - The Ducks aren't dead yet. The defending Stanley Cup champions were quite a lively bunch in forcing Game 6 against the Stars.
Teemu Selanne, Ryan Getzlaf and Sean O'Donnell each had a goal and an assist to lead Anaheim to a 5-2 victory over Dallas on Friday night. That trimmed the Stars' lead in the first-round series to 3-2. Jean-Sebastien Giguere made 40 saves for the Ducks, who got off 31 shots at Marty Turco.

DALLAS - Stu Barnes and Steve Ott scored third-period goals and Marty Turco came within 7.6 seconds of a shutout, sending the Dallas Stars past the Anaheim Ducks 3-1 Thursday night and putting the reigning Stanley Cup champions on the brink of elimination.
Dallas leads the first-round series 3-1 going into Game 5 in Anaheim on Friday night.

DALLAS - Dallas Stars defenceman Philippe Boucher missed Thursday night's playoff game against the Anaheim Ducks with what the club termed a lower-body injury.
Boucher, a 15-year veteran who was scoreless with four penalty minutes in the first three games of the series, is listed as day-to-day.
