Were Sens wives, foundation misled by "charity"?

Do the charitable folks who buy raffle tickets from The Better Halves, the Ottawa Senators' wives and girlfriends, know they are helping support an anti-abortion group?

That's the question posed in a lengthy online column by cbc.ca's Heather Mallick.

When word came out that The Better Halves were giving one-third of the proceeds from this year's $50,000 Christmas Tree raffle to First Place Pregnancy Centre (operated by Pentecostal anti-abortionists), it raised the ire of groups like Planned Parenthood.
