The hockey bloodlines tend to run pretty deep in his household, but NHL prospect Colin Wilson is out to make a name for himself.

A decade and a half after his father, Carey, closed out his NHL career with the Calgary Flames, Colin Wilson is a surefire top-20 pick, and could very well go inside the top ten, at the NHL Entry Draft next month in Ottawa.

Memorial Cup road runs through Spokane, not Kitchener

OK, so we screwed up our geography. The Road to the Memorial Cup doesn't run through Kitchener, but rather a couple thousand miles to the west. In Spokane, to be exact.

Well, figuratively anyway. And this afternoon, in what could very well be a junior hockey classic, the road will end in gold for the Kitchener Rangers or Spokane Chiefs.
