OK, Toronto Maple Leafs' fans, put your collective heads between your knees, breathe deeply and try to calm down.
Despite what you heard or read, John Tavares is not about to join the Leafs. Or the Marlies. Or the Columbia Inferno. Or any other team that might be falling off the bottom of the club's organizational chart.
On Thursday, John Tavares will celebrate his 17th birthday, one assumes with Pepsi, potato chips, Wii and a birthday cake.
