By only allowing a pair of goals in the first two games against Dallas last week, Osgood has helped Detroit to continue their dominance in the 2008 playoffs. Mr. Reliable has yet to lose a game in this current post-season.

Detroit’s Johan Franzen was considered a frontrunner for the Conn Smythe Trophy as playoff MVP, but a head injury may change that.
Detroit’s Johan Franzen was considered a frontrunner for the Conn Smythe Trophy as playoff MVP, but a head injury may change that.

It's the time of year where legends, not to mention your playoff fantasy hopes, are made.

One brilliant spring can be the exclamation point on a sensational Hall of Fame run when discussing the likes of Roy, Yzerman, Lidstrom, Stevens, Sakic, Gretzky, Orr, Lafleur or Mario.

For others such as Ranford, Ward, Vernon, Hextall, Goring and Claude Lemieux, it was an unforgettable spring that helped define a career.

Fantasy Focus - 10 underachievers to bet on

Vancouver's best player finally is Vancouver's best player.

Take a bow, Roberto Luongo.

Two shutouts in a row, against Anaheim and Chicago, make him Hockey.com's Player of the Week.

Fantasy Focus — Accurate shooters rule

It sure is nice when you can load up a hockey pool with all kinds of scorers, especially if goal scoring is weighted heavily in your roto.

Suppose, however, that your pool manager — the rotten *&0&^%! — decided to make accuracy a key feature and award or deduct points based on that.

Fantasy Focus — Best lines for the dollar

By : doherty 170 days 14 hours 25 minutes ago.
Rating:

The beauty of fantasy hockey is that you get to play around with numbers, just like on Sesame ... I mean Wall Street.

That's why I have formulated a performance rating for NHL line combos.

A lot of ink was expended calculating how players perform - or don't - against the big bucks they make.

Now rating an individual player is fair, but individual players aren't on the ice alone.
